Nearly 80 students of a government-run school were taken ill after consuming the mid-day meal at Trilokpuri in the trans-Yamuna area on Wednesday. The contractor has been blacklisted. According to the police, the incident took place around noon when the students of Sharda Sen Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya started vomiting and complained of headache and nausea after consuming the mid-day meal. They were taken to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital where ten of them were kept under observation while the rest were discharged. The police have registered a case after getting the medico-legal certificates of the students.
